Field Day

We will also be discussing Field Day 2008 operation and set-up.

Remember that we also have a license testing session before the meeting.

Meeting Date:	The next regular meeting will be   May 12th, 2008 "Every second Monday of each month."
Meeting Time:	7:30 PM for the Regular Club Meeting. Remember: 6 PM Sharp for VE Testing We close the door at 6:15 PM! Talk-in: 146.850 Repeater and the 442.250 Repeater 114.8 Tone
Meeting Location:	Memorial Regional Hospital 3501 Johnson Street Hollywood, Florida Enter through the Main Hospital Entrance to the Main Auditorium just past and to the right of the Security Guard ID Station. (see map below)
Meeting Directions:	I-95 to Sheridan Street then proceed West on Sheridan Street. As you go up over the bridge, over the Rail Road Tracks, you will see the TY Park on your right. "THESE ARE THE NEW DIRECTIONS FROM THE TY PARK LOCATION!" Be sure to be in the left lane as you will be making a left turn at the next light. At the light, make a Left turn. Then proceed South on North Park Road. North Park Road will appear to end. At that point, proceed ahead and bare left. Go to the second traffic light. This is Johnson Street and make a right. Proceed to the next traffic light and turn right onto 35th Street At the next light turn left into the Hospital's Main Entrance. Once you go through the tunnel, the entrance to the visitors parking lot is on the right. There is a Valet service available at the Main Entrance to the Hospital if you wish to use the service. Bring your parking ticket with you into the building and tell the Security Guard you are there for the Palmetto Amateur Radio Club Meeting and they will validate your parking ticket. Parking will be FREE for the meeting & testing session.
